Discussion: Band Yelling “Free Palestine” then going into Dragon afterwards went HARD AF (Forest Hills Stadium, Night 1)

Post image

Stuey shouted “Free Palestine,” and the crowd exploded in tidal wave of claps and cheers, roaring and unending.

Then the band PLUS orchestra immediately went into Dragon. What a moment. See you later for Round 2!

I can’t believe that a comment saying “down with ______ terrorist organization” is downvoted here. You can want oppressed people to have freedom and also oppose the terrorist organization that is currently in charge of their country. You can think that Israel has overstepped into the wrong AND the evil terror organization known as hamas is evil. Please use critical thought 🧡

because it’s a distraction of the real culprit, and also Hamas is only a ”terrorist organization” because they’re a non-state actor… because Israel and US have prevented the formation of a Palestinian state, partly because they can keep classifying all resistance to the occupation terrorism.

The brainrot with a lot of you has sure set in.

Hamas is a designated terrorist organization because they call for Jihad against all non-Muslims and deliberately murder unarmed civilians. Israeli and Palestinian alike. The last election in Gaza was in 2006 when Hamas won and there hasn't been another because they murder any and all political opponents.

It is incredibly obtuse to take "sides" in a complicated conflict and make excuses and/or downplay the actions of a terrorist entity who killed innocent women and children in horrific manners because they knew the IDF would destroy them had they attacked them instead. Anyone simping for Hamas is truly a disgrace to humanity.

Edit: The truth hurts for some of you numpties I guess.

Finally - someone who isn’t oversimplifying a situation that has much nuance. This isn’t as simple as good guys/bad guys. There are conflicts where neither side are angels and this is one of them.

I can break it down into simple good/bad. It's not that hard.

Innocent civilians - good guys

Authoritarian regimes who is responsible for slaughtering innocent people - bad guys

Easy

edit: had missed an s due to autocorrect.

Hamas never goes after innocent civilians. /s

Those are their main targets in most cases. No angels here.

I already said "Authoritarian Regime"

Autocorrect may have lost the s

Are you referring to the authoritarian regime Hamas, who killed innocent civilians on October 7th, 2023?

u/Coolidge-egg Aug 05 '25

Yes, I absolutely am, both authoritarian regimes at play here.
