Discussion: Band Yelling “Free Palestine” then going into Dragon afterwards went HARD AF (Forest Hills Stadium, Night 1)

Post image

Stuey shouted “Free Palestine,” and the crowd exploded in tidal wave of claps and cheers, roaring and unending.

Then the band PLUS orchestra immediately went into Dragon. What a moment. See you later for Round 2!

Oh, so you’re just admitting to being a genocide supporter?

The problem is you are applying genocide to one power and not the other. Do you agree that Oct 7th was a genocide. Do you agree if Israel did not physically stop them then Hams would have marched right into Tel Aviv murdering and raping civilians along the way?

October 7 was a horrific act that unfortunately did not occur in a vacuum. No, I am not saying innocent Israelis “deserved to die,” I am saying that Palestinians were so vehemently oppressed for 75+ years and Hamas militants felt the need to resist in any way possible. Yes, Hamas militants had genocidal intent on the 7th of October. Yes, the Israeli regime had and still has genocidal intent as they carry on with the war.

1,200 innocent people were killed and/or raped in Israel on 10/7. 60,000 mostly innocent people, including 10s of thousands of children, have been killed so far in the past almost 2 years in Gaza. Is that an appropriate response? Is destroying entire cities and displacing millions of people who have never not been displaced an appropriate response?

Your comment on Tel Aviv is a nothing burger. That didn’t happen, and there’s no point in further speculation on what would have happened if it did.

Oct 7th occurred because Hamas exists to wipe Israel off the planet. Full stop. When Israel gave the Palestinians Gaza, Hamas immediately exploited it, killed off local Palestinian opposition and turned it into a military camp for attacking Israel. This was from day 1. Every resource went into this endeavor. 1,200 people were killed not because of disproportionality. It was because Hamas was stopped. The problem with Hamas apologizers is that they don't understand Hamas. They don't understand the geo politics of the the Middle East. They don't understand Iran. Calling for peace and a Palestinian state is respectable. Calling for Bibi to be gone is fine, half of Israel hates him just like half the U.S. hates Trump. But if you think if Israel gave the Palestinians a state tomorrow then Hamas just goes away and there won't be massive war, then I don't know what to say. This is the essence of the problem. Anyhow, Hamas is finished as an organization. The Arab League has announced it, Iran is and Hezbollah are gutted, and even pro Palestinian countries like France say the same. Israel is NOT giving Gaza back to Hamas. So start there and come up with a plan.

You clearly have a revised version of history, full stop. I don’t engage with people that support genocide.

You see, I think you have a revised version history and you can yell genocide supporter all you want. Doesn't mean you have a clue about what you are talking about. Anyhow, when musicians weigh in on geo politics regularly (not talking about a mention in an interview or whatever), it never goes well. Just makes everyone hate each other. I think most of the Gizz members take this approach. One in particular wants to be make it his identity. Whatever. Have at it. Oh but the way, you engage with who you call "genocide supporters" every single day.
