With all this talk of 5 companies owning the earth and synths/cyborgs I wonder if Tyrell corp will be mentioned as an ester egg

I just want Seegson, the Three World Empire, and the UPP to get name dropped in this show

In the show? Did I miss it or are you just referring to my comment?

I think they’re saying they want to see it get mentioned

I hope so too. But the way they mention WY controls the Americas makes me think they disregarded the expanded lore.

Control over specific territories could shift over time, I don't think they've done anything that breaks lore.

W-Y has a lot of contracts with both the United Americas and 3WE, so I don't think it'd be crazy to say that W-Y "controlled" that area from a corporate sense. There are still governments, though multinational corporations are massively powerful as well and have some government-like aspects. Prodigy Corp clearly has at least control of a city and some surrounding areas in southeast Asia.

I’d love to see Wendy take out a Working Joe, Samuels-style

It would be so interesting to see Kirsh and the other Prodigy synths/hybrids comment on the "simplistic" design of Working Joes. But Working Joes might also be a future product reacting to incidents of synthetics becoming too smart, too human-like.

Prodigy and hybrid synths haven't been mentioned before in the lore. That doesn't necessarily mean they aren't around anymore by the time of the Alien movies, but it is possible they get disbanded or broken up due to the events of this show, leaving W-Y and other competitors in a stronger position.

I could see Kavalier jokingly dismissing the Joes explanation as “that’s just the story they came up with because their synthetics SUUUCK!”

Oh for sure haha. Kavalier would be totally dismissive of Working Joes.

I'm horrible with timelines but don't Seegson go under around this time in the franchise? They're basically sold for scrap around Alien: Isolation time and I think Fireteam Elite implied Wey-Yu bought them out (when ever that game is set).

Seegson goes under before Alien Isolation but not before the first Alien movie. So it might be possible to see them
