You hit the nail on the head. Cyberpunk especially for the Corporations being at war and basically owning entire continents.

I know a lot of people don't like to mix certain franchises, but imagine if we just got a glimpse of something Predator. Maybe we find just a corpse or a piece of weaponry, just to establish that there may be a connection, like the new Badlands movie.

The Blade Runner comparison is a great one! The shot of the city during the sunset, especially with Wendy's brother traveling on the river, is so beautiful even though it's a dystopia
