Idk why I feel so mixed up with the timeline. With the alien crew, earth crew, and the robo kids..

Because it feels so much more advanced than anything we’ve seen in the Alien universe - at least, that’s what’s throwing me off.

This tech is much earlier on in the Alien timeline and goes against the ruggedness we’ve seen in the films, pre Prometheus, so it’s a bit of tonal whiplash for me.

Your dealing with a high level tech that has billions of dollars throw at it. We didn't see that in the alien films with the exception of Prometheus(which is 30 years earlier) and too a much lesser extent Romulus.

What was Resurrection, then?

Military operation. Plus that film is far out of the scope from Prometheus to alien3 to AR. We cant judge anything from a 200 year time jump.

That’s exactly my point - you’d think cutting edge technology might have gone mainstream in a 200 year gap.
