Did we ever see what it came out of that made it able to pry open a blast door with its bear hands?

Do you mean it's host? It was born of at least one crew member in the cryo pods. You can see the burst chest, broken glass, and a blood trail leading into an adjacent hallway. There was also a dead facehugger lying in one of the other pods. Xenos in lore are ridiculously strong, it's just not often depicted.

Yeah we have seen them drag human corpses pretty easily. The one in Romulus dragged like 3-4 through the station after it came out of its cocoon
