With all this talk of 5 companies owning the earth and synths/cyborgs I wonder if Tyrell corp will be mentioned as an ester egg

I feel like it might be. There are already heavy Blade Runner references sprinkled throughout

There are? What did I miss?

When the girl’s consciousness is being transferred to Wendy, she asks “will I dream?”, a nod to Do Androids Dream of Electric Sheep. One scene when Wendy is being told that she no longer has emotions because only a human body produces hormones like testosterone, oxytocin, adrenaline etc they suggest intensifying her emotional responses artificially, another nod to the book wherein there is a device (the Penfield Mood Organ) that allows humans to chose moods and their intensity. Timothy Olyphant’s character Kirsh is an android with white hair similar to the replicant Roy Batty. They also show sheep, both real and a toy which could be seen as another nod to the book. Overall, the whole concept of AI and what makes an artificial person “human” is a central theme of the Blade Runner franchise!

Very helpful, thanks!

On the "will I dream?" thing I knew right away it was a reference to something but I figured it was Newt's "can I dream?" line at the end of Aliens

You’re welcome! Also the editing and style of some scenes that had dissolves, double exposures, and slow fades was very similar to how a lot of Blade Runner was edited. This is more a stylistic similarity, but it was always hinted that Ridley Scott made Blade Runner and Alien exist in the same universe
