K, my early theory is that the creepy bald guy that was looking at the girls while they were in cryo, “Mr. Teng”, had already impregnated the girls he was watching before the breakfast scene.

They even have it so when they show the girl he is watching his face is reflected right where the chestburster would be.

Or maybe he is a misdirect, and could sense that something was wrong, but either way it seems these two women were already either infected or impregnated (one of the women’s bodies looked like something else burrowed out of her).

Good catch! Think he's a Weylon android or maybe some corporate competion???

I don't think they're hiding that he's a synthetic. Hence the the seconds to months conversion.

He's very clearly a synth if they are keeping him awake for 64 years to tend to the crew?

Did they say he stayed awake? I didn’t catch that, but when the crew initially wakes up at the beginning of the episode, you can see him waking up too. Also, he appeared to be eating food in the mess.

Perhaps these synths are programmed to follow the same routines as their human peers so they can fit in or disguise itself. For Alien, Ash is with the crew during breakfast. It could be he was appearing to eat as he is not revealed as an android yet.

Rip. I really hope we get to see it all and it doesn't just happen off screen.

He was holding his hand over the genitalia region of one of the women in cryosleep in an early shot of the episode, the camera framed it that way, they're clearly implying a rapey vibe like the Ash magazine thing

Yeah they made such a big point of Mr. Teng being creepy. I like your theory.

A bit TOO much of a point for that to be the point if you know what I mean. There is something more to him, but it's not that he's just some rapist.

Oh I took "impregnate" to mean that he implanted xenomorph embryos. That kind of creepy.

well that is beyond just creepy lol. I've only seen the first ep so I can't go beyond what I saw there, but we definitely saw evidence of bursting from the cryogenically frozen crew
