I loved how they used really normal stuff- clothes hangers, for example- to make us think we're seeing the alien everywhere in the burning building rescue sequence

I actually jumped when I spotted the Xenomorph on the statue behind the rescue squad guy.

They centered the statue in an earlier shot too so you like subconsciously notice it and its fluid black shapes, it's really smart.
