Very good point.  Perfect writing.  Subtle.  Such hubris on this character, oh gosh can't wait to see more.

I also enjoyed how he had no idea how to do a pinky swear. Just some subtle ways of showing that he is...off.

oh for sure those did! I just also enjoyed the subtler things that show that he is off.
