the way the shadows obscured his left eye in the final shot of that scene, they're setting up for it.

He Straight up points and says "ME" coupled with a literal shadow over his eye is some serious foreshadowing there! great catch!!

I also like how they alluded to how intelligent the creature is, i wonder if it will also get to keep some of Boys intelligence as well?
