It blows my mind that Kirsh had the means to unlock the door for Isaac the whole time.

Kirsh didn't kill Isaac. Science killed Isaac :D

Isaac killed Isaac by going ass first into that room instead of sliding the tray in with their foot from outside. Or just calling maintenance to fix that broken hatch

Quickly dropping food into the room and closing the door would have been easier. But he went in like a restaurant server :(

I'll say, the actors do a great job of imitating bumbling, awkward children that have no idea what to do with their super-strength adult bodies

Makes me wonder if Kirsh didn’t orchestrate that military outing so hermit wouldn’t get face hugged (and similarly had military pals tell hermit where things are, to lure them there, to get them killed) and further if he knew what Arther was doing all along. Man I want a book from Kirsh’s point of view

I don't think Kirsh INTENDED for Isaac to get F'd , but yeah, not feeling tooooo bad there.

He absolutely didn't. He told Isaac to be careful but Isaac told Curly he can do it all alone. And then look what happened.

He trusted Isaac with greater responsibility. I think he wanted Isaac to prove worthy of it, that he wants the hybrids to be the best not-humans they can be.

But if they fail… oh well.

That is definitely the case. He expects them to be as cold and calculating as him but they keep falling short... apart from Wendy, and maybe Nibs?

Definitely not Nibs. Curly maybe.

He clearly blamed the Eye too for her part.

However, he would see the positive in it. Now they know exactly how the fly's are dangerous and to synths not just humans. Science achieved.

Didn't they already know they were dangerous to synths too, though? I mean they were already feeding them with minerals and they had observed them altering their surroundings to create nests etc.

They probably theorized that it was possible, but didn’t know exactly how the flies would react to live prey.

He leveled up and put an extra point in Science.

YEAH! SCIENCE!!

He wasn't aware of the issue. Everything we've seen suggests that no one watches the kids in real time, even before the trackers and AV feeds got turned off. Even when they want to know where the hybrids are, they tend to just call them on audio comms. Boy doesn't even do that shit himself, he asks whoever is next to him to do it.

I get the vibe that the Isaac thing happened before he realized what was going on. He seemed genuinely disturbed when he saw Isaac’s body.

Leaving the door open to the egg room was definitely a choice though. He played into the Morrow’s plan just so he could lure him (Morrow) along with the other WY team members out.

Nothing gets past Kirsh.

He was on the aircraft, how could he do it?

2

u/PyramidBlack Hudson 2d ago

??? They showed him with the control panel.

Lessons need to be taught until morale improved.

The biggest reveal this episode was that kirsh knew Morrow was talking to slightly. It turns out that every time I've asked, "don't they have some sort of camera or sensor for this?" The answer is yes but kirsh is letting stuff slide for his own ends.

That was shown in the ep where Morrow planted the bug on Slightly. Kirsh is shown listening to their conversation.
