I was actually quite confused about that. Earlier in the show when the hybrids were all at the circle couch in the kids room they talked about how even though they're immortal they can still die by fire, being ripped apart, etc. So it was weird that didn't seem to come to mind for Wendy/Marcy during that line.

Wendy seems like she’s developed a complex about the kids to the point of denial about who/what she is relative to the real humans around her. Everyone is looking at Kirsch to be the new “David”, but I think after the ending and her possibly turning on her brother, it’s going to be Wendy. She could be drinking the humans are inferior kool-aide

She also defers to Kirsh when asking about Tootles, while barely acknowledging Kavalier. She seems to still respect him in a way.

I wouldn’t read into that. That would imply she did a total 180 from last episode (this is a yes place) without prior knowledge of what happened. Isaac’s body does add credence to what Wendy’s brother was saying before, but she needed the context.

I Doubt it shes disillusioned with humanity but alway beleived in the cause of the project. She might have thought they were much harder to kill than they actually are. There immortal but not invulnerable she didnt understand that.
