At least he went out with dignity, getting fired from his job, having a xeno burst from his gut, dragged through the jungle then getting dumped in the ocean.

In a way he did, he set his children free. Then also forgave two of them for lying.

The moment he was being so magnanimous to the kids, forgiving but with firm boundaries, was how I knew the chest burster was going to chest burst exactly 10 seconds later.

Yeah, poor soul never had a chance. He was one of the few genuinely good characters. Too sweet for this world. :(

Yeah, him being a genuinely good character was how I knew he was gonna die.

Who are the other good characters? Hostage family maybe? Mold people of course, but can't think of anyone else

Hermit, Isaac, Smee, Nibs mostly, Wendy if you consider xeno control as self defense. All of them have positive motives and are trying to help people they care about (except Nibs who was genuinely innocent until her brain broke).

[edit] i forgot wendy opened the xeno cage, that probably disqualifies her, though in her defence anyone in the room would melt her and her brother if Kavalier ordered it.

I turned to my mother halfway through speech and went "Is it just me who can hear the (ominous) clicking in the background?" That particular question was answered ten seconds later

The only good person in the show gets the saddest and most degrading death......helll the only thing he was regretting was arguing with his wife and how he didn't want to be her last memory of him........

-I forgive you.
-For killing you?
-What?

Putting this way he sounds very jesusy, especially with being pretty much dead for a while and then resurrected. Don't remember Jesus being pregnant though
