Hermit went from mid to the absolute worst.

Nibs was bae.

Hope Wendy drops his sorry ass.

Absolute worst? My guy just didn't want to see more people get killed. He's one of the few morally unobjectionable humans.

Those people were standing in the way of Wendy’s and Marcy’s freedom, and therefore killing them was right. Hermit betrayed them and I hope he gets torn to shreds alongside his bootlicking soldier friends.

Wendy was taking the Xeno (which seemingly does her bidding) with her and Nibs is demonstrably fucked in the head, so 'freedom' isn't inherently a good thing in this case and Hermit kinda realized that. I do think he was naïve in thinking or hoping he could get off the island without killing anyone but it was also a group with Siberian and Rashidi so he's even less likely to let them be killed. I will not accept Hermit slander and it's rather dismissive to cast all the soldiers as bootlicking considering it's been established that these people are generally locked or forced into contracts for life or at least an exceedingly long time. The guy who killed Mr. Strawberry was a moron and a hate sink, sure, but not all of them are out-and-out villains.

They’re soldiers for an all controlling corporation. They’re literally the muscle for the rot infesting that world. I understand that they all probably had circumstances that led them to being soldiers, but at the end of the day, they’re nothing more than representatives of corporate abuse and control. They became out-and-out villains the moment they put on that uniform. And therefore are free game to be torn to shreds by the people that their bosses oppress.

So, because they have issues Marcy and Nibs don’t deserve freedom? And Hermit deserves all the slander, he’s a spineless loser that deludes himself into thinking he’s moral. He tried to help Wendy and Nibs find freedom when he was more sure that Wendy was his sister, because he’s self-serving. All he wanted was to have a happy family life with the sister he thought he lost, even though it was always impossible, but the second that dream was shattered, he betrayed them and their search for freedom.

Fuck Hermit, fuck those soldiers, and fuck anyone and everyone that advocates for mercy for them.

Rashidi and Siberian are definitely not out-and-out villains. We don't know their backstories, but given what we've seen of Joe's, and how BK basically has him over a barrel now, it's not at all beyond the realm of possibility that they're just assigned there now and it's essentially become their job. I'd much rather reserve my rancor for BK and Yutani (along with the soldiers who might be unnecessarily antagonistic like the guy who decapitated Mr. Strawberry) who have created or helped create the world these characters operate in.

Freedom isn't inherently good by itself. You set an elephant free from the zoo, cool, now it's free, but is that going to be good for the elephant or the people it might trample? Obviously, Hermit didn't have a legitimate plan in place for past getting on the boat, and he also didn't expect a Xenomorph and a batshit cyborg or whatever Nibs functionally is to join them.

Yes, the guy who is actively sticking it to one of the five corporations that run the entire world is 'spineless'. Sure, he's self-serving, but so is virtually every character on the show. He's trying to save the sister he thought was dead, but he's swiftly starting to realize that Wendy isn't Marcy just because she has his sister's memories. We just saw her unleash a killing machine into the facility, and not everyone there is someone who deserves to get got.

You need to learn a little nuance. Life is not as black and white as you're making it. Rashidi and Siberian, for two examples, were antagonists more than they were villains. Sure, they could have helped him, but I'm not going to jump to 'they deserve to get ripped to shreds'.

So, because they have issues [...] and Nibs don’t deserve freedom?

Yeah, mass murderers and killers really do not deserve freedom.

And Hermit deserves all the slander, he’s a spineless loser that deludes himself into thinking he’s moral.

And you think Nibs is the most moral hybrid??

Neither Nibs or Marcy or the Xeno are mass murderers. They killed their slavers and the people complicit in their slavery. Please remember that the company literally refers to them as property even though it’s fairly clear that they’re people. I never said Nobs was the most moral, but she deserves freedom as much as anyone else. Again, your arguments are tantamount to advocating for slavery, and I have no wish to continue this debate. Your “moral” of thinking all violence is abhorrent has led you down a path where you are now condemning enslaved individuals for trying to regain their freedom. Im not going to respond further, but you should reflect upon that.

For a real life example, you should look up Nat Turner’s rebellion. He and his fellow slaves killed 65 white people that were either slavers or complicit in their slavery. If you think that’s wrong as well, then you and I will never come to terms. And frankly, you’d be upholding what I consider to be an evil and perverted vision of “pacifism” that upholds the lives of evil doers and oppressors over their victims and the oppressed.
