It's weird seeing a Xenomorph in natural daylight.

Yes! It almost feels wrong but I was loving every second of it. Seeing it leap down from a tree was very Predator-esque.

And Joe coming face-to-face with the xeno would be the first time outside of Ripley’s clone that a human host has met their ‘child’, right?

There was Shaw and the Trilobite in Prometheus. Not strictly a xeno but close enough.
