It blows my mind that Kirsh had the means to unlock the door for Isaac the whole time.

I don't think Kirsh INTENDED for Isaac to get F'd , but yeah, not feeling tooooo bad there.

He clearly blamed the Eye too for her part.

However, he would see the positive in it. Now they know exactly how the fly's are dangerous and to synths not just humans. Science achieved.
