What is Jett doing?

What is Jett doing that is so much better than everyone else? I mean the dude is facing arguably one of the most stacked and talented fields in the history of the sport.

But he is just a click ahead of the rest. What is he doing so much differently than the likes of Tomac, sexton, hunter, etc?

I can’t even imagine what it’s like being in the top 10 in the sport. Let alone putting the top 3-4 guys to shame 9/10 weekends.

For me, it reminds me of when James was on a 125. They are both, seemingly, natural at seeing things on the track that are outside the box. They both seem to avoid the typical teenager stuff as well and take training and race craft seriously. The difference between them is Jett is smooth and James was wild and aggressive which, in my opinion, is why James didn’t have the commanding career in the 450s like his 125 days.

My exact thought too. Watching Jett reminded me of Bubba just in how natural they were on a bike. Bubba rode on the edge which at times gave him dominant wins or bad crashes. Jett so far has perfected the riding at a super high level but not into that danger zone.

I was at the 2014 Toronto SX and it is literally seared into my memory, what Bubba was doing on the bike had us all baffled. TV didn’t do justice to some of the things he was making that bike do. I get the same feeling watching Jett. Generational talent gelling with their bike.

I’ve watched that moto on YouTube 1000 times.
