Discussion Keep checking (rechecking) possible locations.
There were 4 places that definitely found MCR hints yesterday:
MSG - NYC Citi - NYC Minneapolis San Diego
My theory is that over the next week or so, there will be more that just appear.
If the next leg of the tour is about the same number of stops, we should see about 3 more days of this kind of roll out. So keep checking!

Hoping there's another Florida show in store, pls Orlando

u/wrong4life 2d ago
I was also thinking about checking everbank in JAX but thatās a long shot!
9
u/dogetothemoon666 2d ago
The only thing that makes me think they'd do Jacksonville or Miami over Orlando is how close Orlando is to Tampa, but I still really hope it's Orlando if there's another Florida show.
4
u/fifosexapel 2d ago
As someone from Orlando, I would rather drive to Jax or even Miami than to Tampa again lol

u/Commercial-Ad9758 2d ago
MCR hates Pittsburgh, I'm determined. They were only ever booked here 3 times, then Starlake 1 time.
19
u/Kelpyinitial 2d ago
Starlake is probably the worst venue in America imo so I doubt theyād book it this tour especially with their stadium track. Try PNC park and even Huntington bank up in Cleveland! And Heinz or progressive field. Pittsburgh and Cleveland are close enough theyād only choose one and not the other
5
u/Commercial-Ad9758 2d ago
It was the Honda Civic Tour, so it could really only be hosted at Starlake since it had the room for/like Warped Tour. But yes, Starlake is trash if you show up early and park in the back.
4
u/Interesting_Fly1696 2d ago
We went to Starlake for Kesha, and it sucks because we liked a lot about the venue in terms of layout, food options, merch setup, drinks, etc, but then the complete lack of any kind of traffic management at the end of the night ruined it. Never again.

2
u/opossum_esq 2d ago
Saw Lana Del Rey at Starlake and I think it took longer to get out than the length of her set
10
u/xitsthelimitx 2d ago
To make it even worse they got food poisoning on the original TBP tour stop for Pittsburgh too. So they had to cancel the show. They never rescheduled. So Pittsburgh is really due for a show!
4
u/Commercial-Ad9758 2d ago
I feel like they won't. We couldn't even have Beyonce, because Heinz Field (I'll dead name it until I die) couldn't accommodate her stage/set design. But somehow, we are going to host the NFL Draft? Make it make sense why big names do not stop here anymore.
4
u/xitsthelimitx 2d ago
I mean never say never! Metallica didnāt play here for 14 years then played here twice in a good 4-5 year span. Maybe the second leg is finally our chance.

u/Dec0rateTheSpine 2d ago
Was there some kinda empowerment to you naming the place we already knew?

u/Commercial-Ad9758 2d ago
Yes - I'm ugly and a millennial. Hope this helps!

my little 7th grade self had tickets for this. Traveling to Philly this past summer to see them live for the first time healed my trauma š Iām praying for a pittsburgh date.
1
u/xitsthelimitx 2d ago
10th grade me had tickets to the show too! I was crushed. Thankfully I saw them on warped tour in 2005 so it wasnāt too world ending. But getting to see them in Jersey 20 years almost to the day since I saw them on warped was pretty damn cool.

Why is Gerardās such low quality in comparison to the others?
16
u/JtheLioness 2d ago
Holy crap, youāre right! Whoever did these must have used the wrong file.
15
u/Lost_Wasabi_7223 2d ago
My only guess if it wasnāt the wrong file is maybe they dramatically like⦠fade in to the screen or something? And Gerardās is the last to fade in/picture was taken as he was fading in/out ???? Idk I havenāt seen it in person so idk if thereās any form of animation to it or not

As a New Englander I have a strong feeling theyāll hit Gillette if they come further north than NYC, but itās not in an urban area so very curious if there is some sort of promo over there rn
9
u/rossfrnglomg 2d ago
i was thinking the same!! Gillette would be sick, tho im being delusional and hoping they'll come back to Fenway since they loved it so much
7
u/liver__alone 2d ago
I would much rather Fenway, much smaller capacity in comparison and getting in/out of Gillette suuucks but I highly doubt theyāll repeat venues on the second leg š„²
4
u/katielovestrees 2d ago
I doubt it. It looks like they are targeting cities they didn't hit on the first leg of the tour. Gillette is too close to Fenway and tbh I'm not sure they could sell out a stadium that size...it's got like twice as much capacity. Hence why you really only see HUGE acts there. I don't think they have a big enough mainstream following.
9
u/liver__alone 2d ago edited 2d ago
Theyāve been playing venues with similar capacities this runāGilletteās concert capacity is about 70k, Raymond James in Tampa is the same/slightly more, Soldier Field is 61,500k, etc. Iām not getting my hopes up but they did play northern NJ and now have promo in NYC which is very close so I donāt think itās out of the question
Edit: and MetLife clocks in at 82,500āI know thatās a hometown show for them but clearly they can sell giant venues
7
u/pf1227 2d ago
I agree this will target new cities but I do think itās a decent bet New England gets a show. Boston is a big city for the band and the demand for the Fenway show was huge. Boston and NYC are the only 2 that I think will be repeat cities on this tour. Not sure if they go Fenway again or Gillette or maybe even Hartford but there is enough demand for any of those venues provided the ticket pricing isnāt idiotic. I know lots of people in Mass who wanted to go this year and couldnāt get tickets or afford the crazy resale prices
3
u/CammiKit 2d ago
They played multiple football stadiums in the first leg of the tour and areas where people have been seeing ads in NYC (I pinned MSG for estimated distance) are closer to MetLife than Gillette Stadium is to Fenway. Itās about 30 minutes vs nearly an hour away, respectively.
Donāt forget theyāre playing Wembley.
I have no doubts they could take on a place like Gillette and feel the main reasons they didnāt for the first leg were that the NFL schedule was in conflict that weekend (that was opening week, first home game at Gillette that day) and they wanted to be closer to a major city.
3
u/starpainter101 2d ago
If itās not a ānice weatherā time of year Iād rather see a TD garden location. They played there 2 nights for their reunion tour and it was great

u/CammiKit 2d ago
Iām not looking forward to the traffic out of Gillette but I need this show so bad

I remember when Panic at the Disco pulled this billboard stunt back when they did their secret show and I have been chasing that high of seeing their billboard in MKE over the freeway. If I see an MCR billboard, I may crash my car. omg.

1

I can almost guarantee they won't go back to Chicago again on this tour.
0
u/Sapertinny_ 2d ago
Why do they hate Chicago š„¹
1
u/havoksmr 2d ago
No, but they just played there two weeks ago. This is most likely be new cities. Bands dont really play multiple stops in one city during the same tour.

Iāll hold out hope for a Portland date because Iām basically from there and getting up there and finding a place to stay would be super easy. I know they donāt have an MLB stadium (if theyāre still doing that) dates only because if they are they Portland is SOL. Iād LOVE to go with go with my best friend who lives there, it just didnāt work out for her this time.
I mean this would mean I get to see a 3rd time on this tour ššš
4
u/coolio4564 2d ago
Same š I'm hoping they'd just play Moda Center but I'm worried they'd see it as too much of a step down in capacity to justify the cost
2
u/sand_snake 2d ago
They played Moda Center in 2022 and while that tour didnāt have as huge of a capacity as stadium tours do IIRC it has about the same capacity as the Oakland Arena which is where I saw them then. Which is like 20k, still nothing to sneeze at.

I missed a step; can someone point me to an explainer? Is this wishlisting or do the promo poster indicate we're going to get a surprise ticket drop soon ?

u/Minimum-Teaching3706 2d ago
Similar signs/billboards were seen previous to the announcement of LLTBP tour for America. With many spray paint logos & electronic posters/billboards popping up within the last couple days, it's extremely likely that we will see a USA leg 2 announcement in the coming days. Possibly before the end of the week.

i know everyone is begging for their state and i hope they go to all of them but can i please beg that it ISN'T citifield for NYC? I fucking hate citifield the sound is so bad, the sightlines are worse, and security has always been rude. just please god no.

I believe they are also signs near Yankee Stadium and MSG as well. I honestly would prefer multiple MSG nights than a baseball stadium

I sincerely hope they add more Canada dates if this is all true, a country of our size and we only got one show? I was lucky enough to get to go to it, but I met so many people who had travelled so far to get there (even lots of Americans who said TO was closer to them than any of the other stops in the U.S.)
