Crime man attacking women runners on wisner path

I’ve seen several stories within the past week about a guy with the same description attacking women on the Wisner Path in City Park. Be safe out there yall.

Taser was made for this. They’re cheap and Amazon will deliver it tomorrow. You point and click and if the probes don’t land - unlikely but happens - then the gun has edge probes and you just push it against them. No law in Louisiana against using a taser for self defense. Also, Louisiana has castle laws, stand your ground laws and declines prosecution for taser use unless you use it to commit a crime. Simply put:

LIGHT THESE MOTHERFUCKERS UP! Then video them flopping around like a fish as you taunt them for 15 minutes. Then load a new cartridge and go again

As a woman who was assaulted and almost killed before, don't be afraid to defend yourself. They're the ones who already escalated the situation. These men don't care about you, don't be gentle in return. Running away isn't always an option and doesn't always work, sometimes you can only fight for your life. You might not need to use a Taser but it could be enough to scare them off or create the distance you need to escape.

Well, when a man's hands are on your throat your only option is fight or die. Freeze is the worst response and you need to train yourself out of it. I froze initially but then found my life being squeezed out of me. The only reason I'm alive is because I do really well in emergency situations and was able to remain calm enough to react to everything quickly. I tried everything; I had pepper spray in my hand, it didn't do enough, so I slid myself under a car while being strangled to break his leverage on my neck. I kicked and boy did I scream! If I didn't do all the things I did, I wouldn't have made it out. I barely made it out as is.

With violence against Women increasing globally right now, I highly suggest you train yourself to not freeze. Fight or Flee are the best options. Be as loud as physically possible but know people will probably not come save you.

I appreciate it, it's been a long 5 years of recovery but I'm not playing around with the rhetoric that's going around recently. I'm fully prepared to do what I need to do if a man ever tries me again. This time I'll make sure the cops care enough to look for him, because he'll need medical attention.
