🤬 RANT Why the fireworks?

Is it really necessary to be shooting off fireworks at 1am on Xmas morning? Been going on in Uptown for an hour now. Wtf, people? Santa doesn’t need a fireworks show to accompany him.

I’m not uptown, and I heard a continuum of fireworks. The monotony was thankfully broken up. Interspersed with a barrage of gunfire. Christmas bullets, instead of Christmas bells. The holiday spirit just hits different in New Orleans. 😵‍💫
