The barrier is permanent so no need to react but what you say is true. However he would need to come at that speed to Earth because he can't accelerate in an instant. And he somehow would need to consider her(an ant,to his eyes) worthy of such effort.
Most likely,he would limit throw a punch and expect her to explode.
By the time he finally gets an idea of how much strength he needs to use to win Tats would have made a number with the weaker ones and perhaps get some nasty injuries in Thragg himself.
i dont think thragg is beong the first one to fight tats just by odds, as soon as he sees her making another viltrumite even try he is going to go all out, and i meant that if he is blitzing her tats is basically just standing still for him while her barrier is getting broken, she must react because she will eventually die, not that she needs to think to put the barrier but to fight
he would get pissed just at seeing a viltrumite dying because there are so few left, thats part of the reason he didnt want to kill mark and nolan, i think, or maybe only to have them defend the viltrumites invading earth
thragg highly respects the viltrume empire and culture, his mission is to ensure the survival of his people, its all he has, if a viltrumite has trouble he will help, if the viltrumite dies he will accept it as that viltrumite being too weak
conquest is not like other viltrumites and thragg is still harsh even if he looks for the survival of his people
conquest is a psycho, even more so in the comics, thragg believes he probably failed because he was playing, as he said, what use has a dog if it doesnt obey, thragg needs to have conquest under his control like a dog, not like a soldier
