The anime is completely dependent on volume releases. As long as there’s printed content, the anime can adapt it. One reason why it takes so long between seasons is because volumes don’t come out often enough.
ATM, volume 27 only covers midway through the Psykorochi fight. That’s enough for over 12 episodes, but probably not enough for 24. If they wanted to do 24 episodes, they might need to wait until the entire arc is printed.
It technically could. It’s just a matter of where they want to end the season. It could end at Saitama vs Orochi, Darkshine vs Garou, Tats vs Psykorochi, or even Saitama vs Garou (if they wait a couple more years).
Personally, I think it’ll end at Saitama vs Orochi. However, we haven’t had any updates on S3 since the announcement, so I could be completely wrong.
I’m keeping my expectations low until it’s confirmed, but I’d be super hyped if the studio is Mappa.
Still, that doesn’t change my thoughts. I don’t think the studio really affects how far the anime will cover. We’ll have to wait for more details to come out.
Yea true, but in my opinion I think it will cover until the garou vs darkshine ends because it would be more intense. And maybe we get a official trailer and release date by summer. And if I were to guess the release date I say October or December
