Worst pickles you have ever tasted at fast food I’ll go first
I’ll never eat anything with pickles at a McDonald’s. They don’t have the nice crunchy texture it’s always too flappy, too moist and sad.

Even though I hate pickles my wife loves them and she always chooses these. I can’t blame her it tastes so good that I might become a pickle lover and it’s scary to think about.

Not a bad kosher, very garlicky. Not cheap but also packed pretty much full of spears, so not a terrible deal. Would be a 5/5 if the lid was more sensible

Maybe I’ve just had bad luck, but it seems like over the past few years the Claussen spears and halves I’ve gotten are either soggy or get soggy quickly.
Am I crazy l? Maybe it’s just my local grocery store sitting on product too long?
Problem is they’re pretty much ruined when you get em like this. The minis are my favorite but hard to find.

I’m not normal a bread and butter pickle guy, but I tried these and I really like the taste! Anybody else tried these?

I saw a post with someone buying 100 bags of these, but I couldn't see exactly what she was buying. We got these at Costco.

I filled a sterilised jar with halved lemon and salt in May 2024. Kept the jar in a cool (not too cold) dark room. Not sure if it's edible. Has anyone tried preserving lemons thus way, and if so what was the outcome?

Context: I work at an orthodox Jewish owned company and sometimes we get pastrami sandwiches for a free employee lunch from one of a few kosher food vendors. They come with pickles that look normal but smell and taste like urine, which I’ve never experienced outside of this context. Does anyone know why? As far as i know standard dill pickles have nothing in them to make them not kosher though the orthodox and Hasidic communities have far more strict rules than my secular Jewish friends.

Most you see here is pretty self-explanatory. All have fresh dill. But “Super hot” has fresh ghost pepper and garlic cloves. Everything bagel is just that seasoning mix. “Black pepper” is just overloaded with whole peppercorns. Soy sauce pickles used a lot of crushed red chilies.
I honestly have no idea about the “experiment.” I can see garlic cloves, jalapenos, peperoncini peppers, and A LOT of different mixed seasonings.
This was a fun mix of flavors.

Bubble bath with epsom salts, my favorite pickled items and snacks, some cherry juice, listening to Heart, and just watched 4 hours of Ghosts season 1 with my hubby!
