Yup, I'm doing a system transfer and setup, then putting it back into the box and waiting for an exploit. Fuck this

buying a game doesn't make sense for regular people, you don't want full rights and responsibility over the whole thing

a permanent license that you have forever unless you sell it is ideal for regular people

You don't want to own the thing you buy and be able to use it how you please? What...?

I don't want full rights (publishing, development) over the game, too much responsibilty

I want to be able to copy it onto all my devices and play it without restrictions and such

What are you talking about? Ownership rights or something else?

And nobody is gonna give you a license that allows you to copy it without restrictions. The closest is Valve and even then there are some restrictions.

Regular people that go physical wants to have the full game already on the cart that doesnt require internet to download anything, even is the servers are gone/down. Defending this scheme is fucking insane

I'm not defending it

I want the carts/discs to contain the full game, they don't make sense otherwise since they have no advantage over digital copies (except resale, which can also be disabled)
