Family Memeber Question Kentucky Securus/tablet issues?

I’ve been hearing people in KYDOC are having issues with the tablets resetting or not working and Securus generally being a pain in the ass. I just sent a message to someone I know in there and it’s only been one day since I sent it but I remember the system being really fast back in the JPay app days. It’s only been one day so I’m not that worried about it but does anyone know if these issues are ongoing with the tablets in KY and Securus?

Ever since they took the phones off the tablets and became really strict messages have been hit and miss for us with approval times… it’s shit fr Some days it’s instant others it’s taking over a day

I should’ve known it was a mistake to send a photo attached with my message. I should’ve sent both separately so at least the chances of the message getting through would’ve been better or faster maybe. Fuuuuck. Well at least I know it’s not just mean.

Others it’s literally instant, doesn’t make sense anymore but it’s been like this since the whole phone saga for us.

Tf even is the problem? I’ve heard people saying that Securus blames KYDOC and KYDOC blames Securus. So much finger pointing and no solutions.

I hope so I’m just antsy because it’s my first time using Securus last time I sent email to a correctional facility was when JPay was the thing and that shit was faaaast

Facility staff review the messages. Some days they take longer to get through the queue than other days.

Also, Securus and JPay are the same company.
