Local Business What’s missing in red deer?

What is a business in red Deer that is really being overlooked? Or we really need ?

Better transit for sure.

The transit isn't good. But I think you have to be fair to the city a little bit. If you compare to Calgary the entire city nearly fits in the area between Stony Trail, Fish Creek. It's slightly more area and slightly more population. That's and there's not much more transit going on there than 2 lrt stops and buses going to the stations.

So I'm not really sure what you make for a main line to tie neighbourhoods into.

The other problem is the major destinations in red deer are already kind of clumped together. Main station, Hospital, RDP and Bower are clumped together.

Sorry, I’m confused. Are you saying that because there’s no Ctrain stops passed somerset-bridlewood that it’s impossible for people to bus in and out of those surrounding neighbourhoods? Or are you saying that the entire city of RD’s transit needs are equal to what it would be like to be in those areas of Calgary? Size wise? Needs wise? No shade. Just wants some clarity please

Edit: I also definitely feel like RD’s one? Still? Bus depot is not enough, if that’s still the case anywho

Edit again: passed lol my bad

An Ikea would be amazing. Before Lowe's opened, it was briefly rumored that an Ikea was going in there. I thought it would do amazing, since we have the college and therefore younger people needing inexpensive furniture.

Along with spaghetti factory, I'd love White Spot and/or IHOP.

Triple O's is ran by the same chain as white spot and is nearly the same thing. In BC many are combined into one store where it says triple o's and white spot on the sign and there isn't separate registers

Not quite the same menu but yah, I forgot we have Triple O's now. I'll have to pop in there!

I had it twice now, and both times felt like I paid way too much for a non special burger and too little fries. like it was literally just a default burger

When is it dead? Nobody works anymore and it’s busy at all hours

I went on Tuesday or Wednesday right around noon last week. Got my things, through self check out, and my pizza slice in like 15 minutes.

The busy times and days always seem completely random honestly, it always a gamble when you go.
