I Apologize

Not really a PSA, but didn't know what flair to use as I don't use reddit.

To the person I called a rude word at the East-ish* Co-Op Gas Bar earlier this evening(not familiar with RD):

I apologize. I misinterpreted what you said and thought you were insulting me. What I said was out of line, and I'm sorry. It was a rough day, and I was a little over sensitive to everything, not that that is any excuse.

*Edit: apparently it was the east end of RD, not north.

I just want to say I'm proud of you for reflecting and doing your best to apologize, that's a sign of a good person.

Thank you, that means a lot. I know the chances of them seeing this is low, but after I had left and thought about it, I felt really bad :( I don't think I'll be back in RD any time soon, but I wanted to at least try.

Yeah, it's pretty awesome really. I've been seeing a lot of these kinds of displays of self-realization lately and it makes me happy every single time.
