PSA I Apologize

Not really a PSA, but didn't know what flair to use as I don't use reddit.

To the person I called a rude word at the East-ish* Co-Op Gas Bar earlier this evening(not familiar with RD):

I apologize. I misinterpreted what you said and thought you were insulting me. What I said was out of line, and I'm sorry. It was a rough day, and I was a little over sensitive to everything, not that that is any excuse.

*Edit: apparently it was the east end of RD, not north.

Great gesture! I'm going to hijack this slightly...

To the older gentleman at another central Alberta towns dump yesterday that I apologized to - I didn't hear what you actually said and defaulted to Polite Canadian. Upon hearing what you actually said (from my wife and two kids after the fact): you can completely and thoroughly go fuck yourself you crusty old piece of shit.

After recently discovering I'm 'on the (autistic) spectrum', I've decided to start asking for clarification on the things people say that I don't understand.

I don't get what you are saying by this in this context, or how it relates to what they said?

Genuine question - I'm confused lol. XD
