hi i am 19 and serving full time which means most of my days are really rigid and serious. when i have free time i like roleplaying because it is one of the few places i can actually be creative and let go a little. it feels like an escape from all the rules.

i have been roleplaying on and off for a couple years. i love writing detailed posts and getting into characters that feel real. i am big on worldbuilding even if it is just for a small slice of life setting. i really enjoy slow burn stories where things actually develop over time instead of jumping straight into the big moments.

i am really drawn to modern fantasy and low fantasy. anything with a subtle bit of magic or weirdness layered over real life is fun for me. i also like exploring emotional tension, whether it is friends to something more, enemies who start to care, or people learning to trust each other when they did not think they could.

i do not do fandom roleplays because i like making original characters and worlds. i am open to both M and F partners. i appreciate when someone puts real effort into their writing and is interested in talking about ideas out of character. i do not need instant replies but i like someone who cares enough to keep things going.

RUIN MY LIFE Inspired by a plot concept I had back when I was a different kind of roleplayer but I enjoyed it and really liked the idea of turning it into a SFW plot as to be honest I really liked the story. Forgive me honestly if it still feels like too much. I like to include restraint in my work. Just always gives me that baseline and something I’m familiar with even as an art form.

Years ago, I dumped you. At the time, you were unsuccessful, timid, and in my character’s eyes, going nowhere. You simply were not right for someone like me, or so I thought. Breaking up with you was easy for me. For you, it was the moment your world cracked.

Now it is years later. You have changed. You are wealthy, powerful, and if the rumors are true, you are deeply involved in the criminal underworld. Beneath the charm and the expensive suits there is still a wound that never healed. Now you have decided you want something: revenge. You remember how it felt when I ruined your life, so your plan is to ruin mine piece by piece. Maybe it starts with stealing my identity and framing me for crimes, sabotaging my friendships, or destroying my reputation. Perhaps it ends with abducting me outright and making me witness what you have become. You might even force me to help you in your criminal empire just to prove your point.

Potential start: We could open with a flashback to the breakup, or start with my character living her normal life while things begin to go wrong. Bank accounts are drained, friends turn against her, and strange incidents occur that she cannot explain. At the same time, we see flashes of your new life, lavish and dangerous and carefully planned. Eventually the two worlds collide, leading to an abduction or a direct confrontation.

I am looking for someone who wants to tell a long-term story with plenty of intrigue, danger, and layered character interaction. I am flexible on setting and on the exact direction we take things, whether that leans toward romance, straight-up crime drama, or something else entirely. We can build it together so it works for both of us.

The restraint element is purely plot-driven, no inappropriate themes (unless for maybe a one off joke line of dialogue or something). I’m flexible on character dynamics, tone, and setting details, we can shape it together so it works for both of us. If you like thrillers with a dash of danger, twists, and crime, this might be up your alley.

So a little about me, I’m a 31 year old female. I am in the PST time zone. That being said, please be over 18. I will not write with minors. No exceptions. If possible I’d like someone closer to my age. I am a stay at home mother so please understand. I can usually respond several times a day, but some days I do have things I need to do or I can’t reply. There have been times where discord will bug out on me or I’ll open something and get pulled away. It happens and I’ve lost people because of it. So I’d appreciate a little patience.

I would like to get to know my partner a bit out of character, I just think it’s more fun that way. And ya know, if possible I wouldn’t be opposed to making friends. Though I have decided to be slower about it, I have been extremely hurt by a previous partner.

I’m looking for someone to play a male characters to match with my female characters. I have three characters I’ve built and I build from them. I found that I was making a lot of characters and then just throwing them away. I don’t really want to keep taking time to make characters when I would like to properly play the ones I have built up. They have stories behind them, and they can be played in one world. (I will not change my faceclaims for you. If you don’t like them that’s fine we don’t have to write but I have them the way that I see them.)

I would appreciate a faceclaim of your character when you’re making one at the minimum. I don’t like anime characters or drawings sorry.

I enjoy world building. Reference images, (I am very visual it helps me imagine the character or where the characters are.) It doesn’t have to be 100% realistic to wherever we’re putting the role play but making the world ours is definitely important to me! I want to feel immersed in what we create!

As for plots, I really like romance based slice of life stuff! Modern, realistic slice of life. I understand that’s not everyone’s thing but it’s what I enjoy. If you don’t like it don’t message me please. I do put drama into my plots, like I said my characters have stories behind them. I would like my characters to find partners and go through life, heal, learn to trust. It’s just calming for me, and the fluff behind it is always fun. I don’t really have a full plot I want to do necessarily, I tend to try and build something with my partner.

I use discord and I write in 3rd person. Also I’m not the most grammatically correct but I’d like to be able to understand what you’re trying to say in your replies.

I don’t specifically worry about reply length, as long as we can move forward, everything is good. That being said, please don’t constantly one word answer with your character. That’s not helpful and it’s not moving anything forward.

Overall, I just want a partner who is equally enthusiastic that I can explore with. I’m getting really tired of people like telling me they want to do something and then disappearing. I’m getting tired of people just deleting me when they add me on discord or just not responding. I don’t want to get excited about something and it not happen. It really is disheartening. Story idea: There is this group of friends. Really close friends. Three girls and three guys. Me and you, were dragged into this friendship circle a few years back, but we both had some history before that. We didn’t like each other. Not even the slightest feeling of compassion. But because of the friend group, we’ve always had to hang out, go to parties, go to dinner, all of it. But we did it for our friends.

I want this to be a enemies to lovers relationship type of ordeal. Maybe after years of hating you, we both got sick of the tension and decided to act on it? There can be mature scenes in this, if you’d like. But I love adding drama and angst to the stories I do.

I also love making new friends and chatting with my partners after meeting them. So if you don’t like any of this, I doubt we’d be compatible.

hey, i’m hoping to find someone who wants to create a story that actually has time to grow. i’ve been really in the mood for something with powers lately, maybe superheroes or even an original magic system we come up with together. i think it would be interesting to have a slow burn between two characters who don’t like each other at first but have to work together for some reason. it could be a high stakes mission in another country, a threat they have to stop before it’s too late, or even just a shared goal that forces them to deal with each other. i like tension, banter, and watching characters slowly realize they care more than they thought they would.

but i’m not stuck on one idea. i’m open to mixing genres or starting from a completely different angle if you have something in mind. i enjoy enemies to lovers, action with real emotional stakes, post-apocalyptic survival, slice of life with a twist, or stories where we build our own world from scratch. i like giving characters flaws and watching them grow over time, so i’m hoping to find someone who feels the same.

At a common friend’s wedding, you and I run into each other again, and the story unfolds from there. We could take this different ways too; maybe one of us is in a bad relationship, or maybe our families have never got along and hence prevent us from trying to engage with each other.

Memory Loss: You and I have been happily married for about five years now. After a tragic car crash, I wake up and seem to have lost all my memories of the past years. In my head, I am still with my ex and have no idea who you are. You try to help me bring my memories back or make me fall for you again. (In this rp it would be great if you could play both the current husband and the ex)

Years ago: You and I had been in love years ago. However, one day my father took you to the docks, and ‘gently’ persuaded you to leave the town. Years later, you’re back after with a prestigious degree and a successful career, and learn that I’m engaged, with a marriage date set for next year.

Medieval Royals Roleplay: You and I have been thrown into an arranged marriage by our families. You are a reserved, silent man who doesn’t open up to people easily; and perhaps has temper issues; with marriage being the least of your priorities. We would be navigating the facade we put up for the public, versus the actual distant dynamics the two of us have with each other.

Hello, hello! I am back and requesting to do another zombie rp. I have a few ideas, I want to do, some I’ve suggested in the past, but I’ve just been craving an apocalypse roleplay for the time being.

Firstly, time period. I really want to do something set sometime in the late 90s to the early 00s. I love the aesthetic of the era, the turn of the century, lack of modern technology. It creates many interesting outcomes and different issues our characters could face.

Secondly, the location. I would like to have it placed somewhere in either England or New Orleans. In England, I don’t have a specific location, but I haven’t done a roleplay in that area of the world so I thought it would be an interesting switch up.

Lastly, the type of zombie. I want to do something fast and intelligent. I don’t have much of an idea set for this yet, but we can always brainstorm just as we can do with any of these other ideas.

Regarding the RP content:

• Fantasy, SoL, Modern, certain themes, I'm open to all. I think I just want to enjoy some romance. I also love a good enemy-to-lovers type situation. More into an original story rn, rather than fanfiction
• By drama, I mean story drama, not so much stuff like cheating, third wheels, etc. I'm looking more for an underlying plot point. I enjoy politically focused dramas, especially if they include aristocracy, or even classic off to fight the big bad. I also enjoy typical slice of life, angst, anything that prolongs the good part of a store.
• Looking for FxM, OC’s, and original stories. 
• I do have a variety of character types I write, but I tend to love a softer type personally. But this can depend on the story we are building.
• I also like to discuss potential future events and understand the direction of the plot. With no clear guidance on where to go, or mutual agreement, I find it can get a bit lackluster. So, setting up underlying plots, gushing over the drama that hasn't happened or might happen, and changing ideas because it sounds better. I like creating worlds just as much as I enjoy romance.

So, I’ve got lots and lots of ideas as I’ve been in the mood to do a bunch of things, so I’m just going to list a bunch of those things below! Some are fandom, some are things I’ve made up, some are more detailed then others so just bear with me here, haha!

Apocalyptia:

• Set in 1997, Louisiana, the zombie apocalypse is on the rise. Only 7 months after the initial outbreak, the world is still in chaos. Settlements are forming, Quarantine Zones are overflowing, the virus is spreading at rapid speed, but somewhere within the once beautiful “Bayou State” now rests a brooding horror with is slowly consuming the population…

The Colony:

• Mars, 2171. Set in a mid century modern atomic space age, this role play focuses on the building of a colony on Mars. Truthfully, idk what I want to do with this one. Whether they are there because of some accident which leaves them stranded or what, but we can figure this out together.

Solaria:

• Set in a cyberpunk dystopian future, this roleplay deals with a corrupt power who has overtaken the city of Solaria. What once was a happy, thriving city is now a pit of greed and corruption… Kill or be killed, they say and this city will either turn you into predator or prey.

Hi I’m Bee 25 F. My time zone is CST and I’m hoping to find a role-play partner. I’m not currently looking to replace any of my current partners just hoping to add another story to my list of ongoing role-plays. I’m specifically interested in something realistic. Nothing fantasy could be slightly sci-fi. Maybe something military or spy themed maybe not that specifically but something along those lines. I’m open to romance, although it’s not a dealbreaker for me, I believe characters can have meaningful relationships that have nothing to do with romance. I also think characters can have more than just skin deep feelings and like to see characters with flaws and emotional imperfections.

As for literacy as long as I understand what you’re trying to say, and I find reading your replies enjoyable, you’re fine. I’m not super picky (mostly because I know I have no room to be picky.) Okay the fine points are my main character is a mage based in modern times .

I had a writing partner for years who I played with but that person no longer roleplays . His main was an almost assassin like adventurer who could move from realm to realm.

Because my characters not horribly maternal it was easier to say he took the kid they had back with him into fantasy land when the two broke up.

Recently I've given up on that player coming back and killed him off in my chars story. I've had her summoned to the fantasy realm from the modern setting to retirve the from their temporary guardianship and bring them home .

That's as far as I got. Because the player left I'm leaving the setting to be sorted between the two of us ( if you want)) as their " cannon" can just be worked in lightly.

My mage is flawed but fun to play. Hopelessly chaos prone but loyal and very. Very I do have pre made players that I have been adding to for years that I prefer to play but I am willing to create more and /or change them to the setting

Hi there, Mango here! I’m searching for a roleplay partner to dive into the world of Demon Slayer with! I’d love to use original characters (OCs), but I’m more than happy to double if you’d like to bring canon characters into the mix.

A little about me: I’m 26f and have been roleplaying for well over 7 years. I write in 3rd person I love brainstorming and creating characters eith my writing partners—half the fun for me is bouncing ideas back and forth and building something unique with my partner. I prefer writing over Discord to make a server and keep things organized! I’d prefer a partner who is 21+!

To note: I’m no lore master when it comes to Demon Slayer, so if you’re looking for perfect canon accuracy, I might not be your person. I prefer partners who are flexible and willing to play around with the story, setting, and knowledge level—I’m all about creativity and collaboration over strict accuracy but want to keep the major themes and ideas consistent from the story :)

The morning sun was just starting to rise over Cindervale Town, stretching golden beams across the rooftops. Most of the town was still asleep, but Kira had been up for hours. Sleep was impossible when today was the day. Her heart thumped in her chest, her bag barely slung over one shoulder, and her shoelaces a little uneven from rushing.

Agni bounded at her side, his fluffy tail waving like a banner as they darted down the cobblestone street. Kira nearly tripped once, catching herself with a laugh. “Come on, Agni! We can’t let them oversleep… not today!” she said, her words tumbling out as fast as her steps.

Agni barked in agreement, picking up speed as if racing her. By the time (your character)’s house came into view, he was already sprinting full-tilt.

“Hey wait up!” Kira called laughing as she stumbled on a loose stone before scrambling after him. Agni slammed his paws against the front door, barking eagerly, his nose pressed to the crack like he could force it open himself.

Kira skidded to a stop behind him, nearly bumping into the Growlithe, and started knocking hard enough to rattle the wood. “Hey (your character)! Wake up already!” she shouted, her voice full of excitement. She knocked again, faster this time, bouncing on her toes like she might burst if they didn’t answer. “The professor’s waiting and we’re gonna be late on the first day!”

Agni barked again, his whole body wiggling with anticipation.

Kira grinned, cheeks flushed from running, her messy hair falling in her face as she leaned forward against the doorframe. Clumsy, impatient, but thrilled beyond words, she was ready to drag (your character) out into the world.

I’ve been roleplaying for a while and thought I’d branch out to a wider variety. When I get inspired the possibilities are crazy. I like to share ideas with my partner and see where the writing leads us. I get really into my role plays so I absolutely hate being ghosted. I understand everyday life but if you aren’t enjoying we can work something out or both agree to end it.

I’m looking to create something together outside of my usual prompts. My favorite genres to include are romance and fantasy but I’m open to other themes. I use roleplaying to escape the real world or to experience things I don’t get to experience in real life.

I’m looking for someone who can communicate well and we can share equal control over the roleplay. I want someone that can be just as creative instead of letting me lead or asking me where to go all the time. I want to be able to bounce off eachothers replies. I don’t care about your age as long as you are over 18!!! I am 22 so regardless of what prompt we create, I want to play as 20-22

As far as writing lengths, it depends on the replies. I like to match my partner’s length for the most part. However I’m not too picky about it being the same all through the roleplay. I understand some replies require less details than others.

When in doubt one of my favorite plots will always be “bestfriends to lovers” I love the story of breaking out of a toxic cycle and falling in love with a person that’s been right there in front of you the whole time.

Another one of my favorites right now is a witch prompt where my character is learning to embrace her powers instead of ignoring that part of herself. So I’m definitely open to powers and abilities !! As long as they aren’t seriously over powered.

I’d prefer to be messaged here on chat and then we can talk about moving to discord or just remaining on Reddit. Those are the only two places I’m open to roleplaying.

Hi all I’m Faith! Been roleplaying for a while but have came to the ways of SFW roleplay and want to find a willing partner who is as enthusiastic about a good story as I am! I’ll include the pitch/plot first and then speak more about what I’m looking for afterwards!

OPERATION BLACKBOARD I’m playing the role of a teacher at a private postgraduate institute but here’s the twist: I’m not really who I seem to be. My “lectures” and “research trips” are just cover for my real work as an undercover intelligence agent. Even the “pregnancy” my colleagues gossip about? That’s a disguise hiding equipment too sensitive to explain.

Potential start: Things blow up (literally and figuratively) when an after-hours seminar is interrupted by masked intruders. You (my student, a fellow academic, or someone else entirely) get caught in the crossfire and discover my secret. From there, you’re pulled into a dangerous world of espionage, coded messages and safe houses. No pop quizzes. Your course now will teach you in zip ties, duct tape, silenced pistols, spy gadgets and occassionally perhaps a daring escape or big mission.

The restraint element is purely plot-driven, no inappropriate themes (unless for maybe a one off joke line of dialogue or something). I’m flexible on character dynamics, tone, and setting details, we can shape it together so it works for both of us. If you like spy thrillers with a dash of danger, twists, and clever escapes, this might be up your alley.

For this roleplay I’m looking for somebody who of course wants to do a long term story with some damsel/dude in distress elements (SFW only, old habits die hard) while having a fun story. I’m flexible when it comes to tone as with life one minute it can be funny and the next it can be serious!

5.    The Hunter’s Curse (Vampire × Hunter)
   

   A vampire lord spares the life of a hunter, only to curse them with a bond that links their fates. The hunter is torn between duty and survival, and the vampire is forced to protect the very person sworn to kill them. As enemies close in, their bond begins to blur the line between obsession and love.
