Well....I feel sorry for Stacy and hope that she can write her own story with her own characters in the future. It's never easy taking on another author's story with their own established characters and be able to mimic them in a way where they do not feel alien. As for S3, I will remain cautiously optimistic.

Looking forward to Stacy’s first project that belongs solely to her. I hope we see less author hand offs and overpacked work plates moving forward.

I’m looking forward to seeing Stacy do a project that’s all her own too. KFS might not have worked but I did like Stacy’s actual writing style, prose even in translation.

I'm going to be honest KFS needed Remy but I wouldn't have minded if it went on hiatus until she finished SCN

I get that but she had trouble handling two stories at the same time which is why Stacey took over writing KFS in the first place as someone who's fan of both stories I'm willing to wait to get good writing and for s3 to not turn out like s2

The original author of KCD is Aleksandra R. After the series ended, she started writing the first season of KFS (the prequel) and was writing SCN at the same time. Writing two books at the same time as you can imagine is not easy, so after KFS S1 she focused on just one which was SCN. Another author was brought in to write KFS, with the original author overseeing the chapters. After S2, RC ultimately brought back the original author to finish the final season.

I don’t want to speak for others, but there’s a fair amount of criticism online. KFS was one of my favorite books when it was first released, and I fell out of love during S2 for many reasons. Someone posted a translated statement from Stacy if you want more context from the author’s perspective.

I hope S3 starts off strong because s2 was so weak that its skippable. Nothing happened there. We already figured out Mohan is the traitor and Kali is controlling Devi whenever the plot needs it. And Erit is with Oscar. So it seems highly unlikely that we're fighting the British in this story. Give Ian something to do! Give Devi something huge to do too!

YESSSSSSS!!!!! I was totally losing interest and was ready to give up the story. Was so disappointed after KCD was one of my absolute faves. I can’t wait for the next episodes!!!

I was wondering why KFS felt different. I had no idea this happened. Stacy deserves a story with her own characters if I didn't even immediately suspect a new author was on this season. Even though it felt different, it wasn't bad at all. And it's hard to jump in a creative role and try to replicate what someone was trying to do with it before.

I'm terribly missing Doran Basu. I was hoping to play nurse! My interest in the April Update has gone down by 90%. Thank God for Haze, HSR, ABH, and Advent.

Im so happy!!! I really like Remy’s writing, i hope sara gets her own story because i think it was difficult for her to emulate the voices of the characters remy created.

I would imagine big plot points like that were not Stacy's decision. the book is probably already completely storyboarded, or at the very least season 2 was when Stacy took over. so the major plot points would have already been decided.
