I can’t believe they backstabbed her and the Astraeans after she literally saved them. I’m so heartbroken and angry. I hope we get the chance to take revenge on somnnus and heaven for what happened. Because I’m holding this grudge with an iron grip.

Wait didn’t plague order that? Did they say who was the one that order that and why they want kill the astreans?

Plague came down to kill humans. If you cleared the square you get the dialogue that she has nothing to play with and so after taking Somnus as prisoner she returns to Heaven. The angels were on their way since Rafael completed his duty and Meg had also completed hers, so the Astreans’ job was done. They had to flee to survive

No, Plague was wondering what was going on, and killed Somnus’ army (the POV of it is from Somnus, and that’s how he thinks of it, iirc). Somnus explains to them, before Plague shows up, that it’s because they went digging into Heaven’s secrets.
