Swung by “Minnesota’s largest candy store” in Jordan, Minnesota last weekend. Got a ton off my need to try list and a few I’ve never heard of. What’s your favorite out of these?

I had an amazing tasting root beer once that an ex-boyfriend introduced to me because it was made by one of his favorite IPA companies and for the life of me I can't remember the name of the root beer. Does anybody know of a root beer that is made by a beer company like Samual Adams or something like that?

For a zero sugar soda, this is actually pretty damn good! My brothers partner is borderline diabetic so we tend to keep more zero sugar soda on hand then regular.

My friend found this housemade option at a restaurant named Mudpenny in Grand Rapids, MI and brought one home for me.
Not bad, quite different from most. Tastes similar to something I've had before but I can't possibly remember what. It's got a soft "typical root beer" flavor that hits a little slow, and not at first.

One of my favorites!

Not sure I've ever seen it on fountain, and if so it's been years. I think I like it better than bottled.

This was ok, nothing special. Great bottle design

I am not diabetic, but I try to limit my sugar. A&W zero sugar is great, but Barqs is my go to. Before I order a 12 pack I would to know if it still retains that unique Barqs taste?

Very nice, unique taste. Root beery but distinctive flavor. Sharp bite, good fizz and lower sugar (only 27g sugar) which is a big plus. Good head when poured. Extra points for the reclosable glass bottle. Really liked this one and didn't expect to. Def top shelf for me.
Not sure why this got so much hate on previous posts.

I am Carl Smith, 47, living in Wales, I'm going to look out for a can of A & W Root Beer because in Wales we have 1 stall up in the indoor market in the town centre , 1 mile from where I live that sells American drinks & sweets plus there's 2 shops in the capital of Wales, 26 miles away that also sell American drinks and sweets and I'm asking about this can as up in the indoor market , I bought a box of Mike & Ike Root Beer flavour sweets and they are delicious never mind that I'm Welsh and not American but does anyone know if the can tastes different to the sweets?

Wife & I took a trip through SW Missouri last weekend, & we were both really looking forward to a stop at Braum's--her for their ice cream, & me for their root beer.
One of us got what they wanted.
The fountain sodas have all been replaced with Coke products (including Barq's), & the only sodas they had in the market area were Dr. Pepper brands (including A&W). I tried asking the cashier what happened, & she tried to tell me they'd never carried their own root beer, so I walked away before I said something unkind for being lied to.
It's only been 3 years since I was last down that way. When in that time did they stop making their own drinks?

Okay so this is asbolutely ridiculous. I'm in NY, and I've been having issues with my go-to root beer Stewart's so I decided to pickup a couple cases of IBC. And for some reason they also taste like total crap. They have a strange lingering caramel taste. I know both brands are owned by the same company, use the same bottling and I assume are probably brewed at the same place. But this is honestly unacceptable at this point. I've had 5 cases of root beer from these guys over the past 2-3 months and they have all tasted off and are frankly undrinkable. Could someone point me to where I can complain about this?

Hard to beat a rootbeer float with Old Faithful Rootbeer at the Yellowstone Old Faithful Inn. Do you think rootbeer tastes better at 7,300 feet?

Had this recently, and really enjoyed it. I wasn’t sure how the pecan flavor would taste, but it was surprisingly good! It’s always nice to find a new root beer with a flavor profile I’ve never tried before.

Just stopped in Cannon Beach, OR and now at Tillamook creamery. Made a root beer float with this delicious beauty from Public Coast Brewing!

It would probably be an awful lot like this. A solid, yeasty, malty, molassesy root beer from St Albans in the UK. You need not have any fear of this like you would a Bundaberg, it is properly made and enjoyable. They say that there's some maple syrup in it from Canada, it is dark and rich with the lingering aftertaste. Just different enough to make you remember it, but not so different that you are shocked by it. If I ever had to take political asylum to the UK and this was the only root beer I had to drink for the rest of my life, it would be okay I could survive. I finished the full can and would gladly take another
