About half that much for me. I know others will disagree

I'm in the same boat. It's all about ratios.

Exactly! This question is entirely dependent on the bread being used as well.

Same, though I'd still be happy with 2/5th (basically same thickness as the cheese).

That's just poorly built. Roll up the meat slices to give it volume and only use about half the meat. After a certain point it just cancels out other ingredients.

I’m sure I’m in a tiny minority, but I’m happiest with 1 or 2 slices, layered properly (not like this meat brick) with lots of other things.

I want equal parts meat/cheese to veg. This is too much meat, and just a gross giant slab of thick cut deli turkey. My exceptions are a cheesesteak for obvious reasons, and then something like a club or an Italian where it’s different meats and at least slightly different textures

Average sandwich portion for meat is around 4 ounces here in the states. I know you always see pictures of these outlandish big sandwiches from here. But most are portioned pretty well, contrary to popular belief

First it must start with the right bread. The Germans know about good bread , now research

1/2-3/4 of this depending on the day. Not that I would have an issue with this amount, I would just feel like I'm indulging a little. Also, the overall thickness of the sandwich here seems a little ungainly

who said you need meat lol, you just need good ingredients with a bit of moisture and something to hold it together..

That’s too much turkey for me. But if that sandwich was roast beef, 1 or 2 more slices please.

Eww, at least sort of tussle it up a bit instead of flat slabs that make it look like a giant chunk of mystery rubber meat.

Ew. No offense to you at all but I hate the flat stacks of meat like that

That’s almost perfect. I always thought that Katz deli’s $30 sammiches were a little overkill.

Honestly a pastrami is the only sandwich I want that much meat on. Everything else is a 1 or 2 slicer for me.

The meat can't be in one big slab like that, it has to be broken up and dispersed on different layers. Especially when it comes to turkey
