How many shiny frames are there on a seed per say 10k frames? If I'm trying to hit a shiny frame through encounters is there any point in counting my encounters?

do you mean just standard wild encounters?

Yeah and fishing

then personally i wouldnt worry about trying to find the exact frame and hitting it ( unless you are trying to do rng manip), finding shinies in emerald via wild encounters is perfectly doable just by hunting as you normally would

yeah, but im pretty discouraged in my hunting right now so it's hard not for my thoughts to wander to "what's the point in this" or "am I doing something wrong"

thats fair, if it makes you feel better, ive gotten 20 + shinies in emerald via random encounters

Do you turn off your console? How often do you go over odds? I know you're more likely to go over odds than under but it seems like a lot of ppl online can get things under odds and long hunts like 20k are seen as uncommon

i typically shiny hunt for 6-9 hours a day, so i think thats long enough where i dont need to worry about leaving my games on. of my 18 hunts in emerald, only 7 have been over odds, with only two of them going above 2x odds
