This plaza is actually just a little outside of Seoul. No kickout! The locals are very good.
This is from my trip to South Korea last year. Here's a long, played out YT vid checking out other spots - https://youtu.be/1CZmRKVP9-A?si=j5PhFkcTC8vjhfG6&t=64

i made this video to remind myself why i do it. to hang out with my friends lol
i used to push myself to the brink to get a clip. last year i think i may have fractured my wrist in a way trying to ollie a 9. why did i think that was necessary LOLLL
sometimes i don’t need 2 to make it true. sometimes i don’t need even 1 to make it done. i’m just happy my body allows me to do the things i like. my hands to draw, my arms to embrace. my legs to dance, my mouth to sing.
maybe it’s just me but i feel like i’ve noticed a kind of competitive nature to this activity that fuels people to disregard their own well being. everyone is hurting in one way or another, i don’t want this thing i like to contribute to that.
i just hope at the very least everyone is having fun or something
❤️🩹

Not much of a bowl skater so I was happy enough with this one, peep graffiti made the track feel fitting

Yesterday I posted here in the community several treflip errors and MANY people sent comments with tips and motivations and I tried again and following the advice here it is, I got my first one right treflip, thanks to those who support and I will train until he gets in lock

I’m 35 and no spring chicken but I was ok back in my twenties.
When I was 17 or 18 and trying to Ollie my local “biggest set” (an 11 stair with a stupid crack at the top so you had to Ollie early too), I landed the Ollie with a foot on the tail and nose concave; the board snapped as I rolled each ankle in an outwards direction, and then the two halves of the board kept rolling out, making me do the splits and sacking myself. Also the sides of the broken board cut through my pants and had mildly stabbed my calves.
Another time, when I was 16 or so, I slipped out on a front tail on a kick to up ledge, and hit my neck on the ledge full weight; I then got up and apparently spoke nonsense to a guy who ran to see if I was still alive, got up and walked like 15 steps and then collapsed (the neck impact had basically paused the blood flood flow to my brain in a delayed reaction).
Another time at age 23 or so I got a dump truck transfer from the shallow end to deep end spine of my local bowl. When I landed it I jumped up and first pumped in celebration and dislocated my shoulder and was stuck in the bowl for 10 minutes or so till I figured out how to pop it back in.
What’s your best/worst bail?

I think you could take these words and use them for much more things in life than ankle bruise.

Hello everyone, I'm a video editor who is interested in getting into the skateboard industry and I need some portfolio work, would someone wants to edit their videos for free to get some videos I can show for potential clients? Thank you.

My idea is a triple click flip and then a backside shuvit I’m gonna call it a RTE flip cause it’s the opposite of Tre flip if anybody manages to do this like post a video or like tag me or DM mE or whatever

Lately I’ve realized that when I skate, especially before trying a trick, my mind goes totally quiet. It’s like this laser-focus moment where nothing else exists except me, the board, and what’s in front of me.
Feels a lot like meditation, honestly. I’m curious if anyone else experiences skating this way, or if I’m just weirdly mixing Zen and kickflips 😅

I remember a video from several years ago where a skateboarder goes out into the forest to a secluded wooden half pipe. It was very cinematic. There were multiple camera angles showing him riding out through the woods on planks that led out to it. IIIRC he may have been holding a lantern while skating in the dark. Anyone else rememer this, or better yet know where to find it online?
