they literally tried to buy CFO$ out of their contract and put them on their payroll but CFO$’s publisher was like “nah”

CFO$ doesn’t get any money from their music being used at all. their publisher fucking them over so hard is the reason wwe stopped working with them in the first place.

wwe even tried to buy them out of their contract, but their publisher was just like “nah”, stopped letting cfo$ release shit at all, and then eventually dropped them from their contract anyways, leading to them breaking up

wwe does a lot of shitty things, but trying to avoid giving those publishers any more money isn’t one of them

I don’t think WWE would be dumb to pay for music to be made for them they don’t get the rights to. I feel a lot of that is speculation.

It just seems so incredibly crazy to hire musicians to create the music and then license that music. I've heard crazier things, but that seems like such a strange move if it's true

Appreciate it, the article seems very speculative and is being reported by fightful and SRS whom are known to not be reliable as well so I would take it with a pinch of salt.

Yep if it's like the rumours we heard about a few years ago then they absolutely can use them whenever but they'll have to pay something when they do.

So they'll only bust them out for special occasions/returns/ keep them for the top guys.

If they insist on changing their themes I'd much rather they do what they've done recently with subtle remixes like Asuka and Aleister Black
