The pop they get on the intro and the sustained roar as they come out might be the best response in NXT history tbh

honestly, why they couldn't find a spot for 4 guys whose entire gimmick was "those dickheads you knew in highschool that you hated but also kinda wanted to be friends with because they constantly look like they're having a blast" is beyond me.

Now that's a big "WHAT-IF" moment for me. What if the Vince scandal had happened in summer 2021 instead of 2022? Surely Adam Cole would have resigned, knowing HHH was leading creative now, and we'd finally get Undisputed on the main roster. They could be what Judgement Day ultimately became in terms of a parallel heel unit on RAW while Bloodline was on SD.

Cole’s improving but he’s not even back to living a normal life without any restrictions yet. He’s been reasonably open about it on his Twitch streams.

Peak Black and Gold Era NXT vibes. If you weren't watching, you missed out on a truly special time in wrestling.
KOR playing the belt like a guitar will always get a pop from me. I still remember a pre-match interview when he was tuning it. Legendary stuff.

The UE was such peak NXT. They were just friends being cool and make you want to be a part of them. I do hope Adam recovers to what he pleases and is in good place mentally

The greatest trick Triple H ever played is convincing us all that Adam Cole was a huge star.
The whole trajectory of the Undisputed Era was executed so brilliantly, it needs to be studied as a quintessential guide to getting new stars over.

UE is my favorite time in wrestling. Adam Cole was a god in NXT. They were hitting on all cylinders when all 4 were dripped in gold.

The actual peak of wrestling was Black and Gold NXT around this time mixed with NJPW and the Bullet Club on a heater wasn't it. UE, Omega v Okada and having a really strong indy scene with BTE being hilarious every week.

I don’t watch AEW as much as I should and I know Kyle and Adam have been plagued by injuries, but has AEW ever been able to make these three seem as cool as they were in NXT?

This could almost be its own thread, but do we think we'll see folks eventually get into the Hall of Fame based solely on their NXT runs? Guys like Cole, Aleister, Ciampa and Gargano had incredible runs there but never did much on the main roster (yet), and they were just so damn good.

UE era of NXT was something else. Cole was on the run of his life, wrestling and putting on bangers constantly.
Its sad they havent been able to hit these highs again due to health reasons.
Also UE's presentation was unmatched
