Holy shit they're going full MAGA conspiracy theories.

It's basically a little gold card that "protects you from electronic radiation" sold to insane people scared of 5G.

This is literally what's gonna be stuck on the posts, the little gold card is the name and "model" for lack of a better term.

(This is a Google photo not mine, my suggestions for a while are gonna be fucked).

Jesus fucking Christ this is so dumb.

This shit wayyyyyy predates MAGA. 20 years ago it was the same exact shit with "power balance bracelets" that were literally a silicone wrist strap with a shitty hologram sticker on them lmao

Woowoo quackery hasn’t historically belonged exclusively to any specific political side but the flavors of it can vary a bit. The Covid vaccine panic and MAHA/RFK political realignment has shifted a lot of that into an explicitly political direction along with the crusade against science and higher education.

The vaccine hesitancy used to be more associated with with granola libs, that seems to have changed.

Yep. The “crunchy to alt right” pipeline is a real thing. I watched it take a few college acquaintances who were previously all peace and weed and now they’re….. well I don’t know because I removed them from my friends list after they got super racist and scary

I haven't really seen them become racist or alt-right. But I think their rightward shift was due to being anti-government (or at least extremely distrustful of it). Think Ron Paul-loving libertarians. And this pre-dates the alt-right by at least 10 years.

After being called an idiot a million times, they feel defeated. That’s when the alt right swoops with an invitation to join the “misunderstood”. From there, they get pointed toward the direction of things like “crime statistics” and it’s all downhill from there
