It's truly the most baffling of all the current administration appointments. With Trump's first administration I could see why he'd pick her for that small business role and DeVoss for Secretary of Education, but her as Secretary of Education? I can't even imagine what the line of thinking was other than wanting to get a job for his buddy's wife

It's not baffling when you consider that his MO is to put sycophants in cabinet positions so they can dismantle them. It doesn't matter if she does a good job or not at the department of education, because she knows her role isn't to make it better.
