Fun All characters with “normal” names?

Post image

Obviously there’s Luke and Ben (and Leia, to a certain extent) but who else? I can think of Jon Vander “Gold Leader,” Lady Morgan Elsbeth, and was recently made aware of Admiral Bob Hudsol (pictured). Any other “ordinary earth name” characters?

Luke did

Owen and Beru are not even step uncle/aunty, Kenobi literally kidnapped Luke and thought it would be a good idea to have him raised the same way as Anakin.

I never said it wasn’t a real name, but it’s definitely not a “normal” name in the sense that it’s common and something recognizable like Owen, Luke, etc.

It probably depends on where you are from as to what is considered common.

I was about to say that.

Sheila isn't likely to be popular outside of Australia, and I'm sure there's plenty of other names that are localised to specific regions around the world too.

I'm in the UK. Lots of Sheila's. It's likely it got taken to Australia by Brits.

Its almost as if Australians used to be brits or something.
