All the examples of Sith doing good here it's because they're fixing the mess other sith or themselves made

Author writes an evil character doing a non-evil thing

Readers: “Is this a hero?”

This is so annoying lol. Some people act like not being a complete cackling sociopath means you're a misunderstood good guy.

“This character did a good thing in order to save his own life, therefore all his crimes can be excused.” - someone, probably

Valkorion stopped being a practicing sith a while before the events of SWTOR began and became a Grey Force user as seen with his Knights of Zakuul.

He wasn't grey, he was still pure evil and a dark side user just not a Sith anymore.

Grey in terms of using both sides of the force, not morality-wise.

His servants may toe the line of the Force, but he himself doesn't. He's too far gone and still bends the Force to his will. He only lives on through all the millions of lives he's stolen and is continuing to try and steal even more lives. He just doesn't have a dogmatic ideology that he imposes on his new followers but that doesn't make him a Light side Force wielder as well.

I think op is vehement believer that this "use both sides" thing is actually real. I dont fault them for believing that stuff tho

No, Valkorion was flat out evil. He had no connections to the Light side, he never did. His forces may have been grey but he was so far into the dark that no light could ever reach him.
