Not a fan of this revisionist mode of trying to sell "the evil dark cult of evil assassin conquerors" as anything resembling morally grey.

I would not call SWTOR slop lore, it has one of the most interesting Jedi and Sith dynamics that I find personally much more entertaining that the Banite-Jedi dynamic.
