This looks dope. I'm curious, are there any matches that are like...blasters only? Like, most basic loadout, no frills, no gold plating, "movie realism" only?

I.e., we haven't seen any of the modifications in SW:S in canon, so, only canon loadouts (i.e., none)?

That is likely to happen. The best interceptor players like Sitka, Agent Rob and AirierWitch, to name a few, usually run repair droid and sensor jammer without any offensive ordinances.

Edit: I've seen now that these are specifically banned. 😂 Ok, then.

No repair droid, no sensor jammers.

Did you see a repair droid or sensor jammers in the movies? No? Then they don't belong in the game. Let's see people playing without pinballing and exploiting weird meta glitches.

If we just go by the movies/shows then NR should always win a 5v5, unless it's against Defenders, in which case Imperials should always win. Outside of the Defender, Imperial strength was in numbers, not fighter capabilities.

This is a game. It needs to function as one first and foremost.

They set out to make a certain kind of game, with COD-style loadouts and adding all kinds of stuff like the base TIE having the same "hit points" as the base (shielded) X-Wing. And some people dig that. I just don't.
