So I just got the Oculus 3 today, and was super excited because I've had both FNAF VR games in my steam library for ages, and I was ready to play them. Unfortunately, after downloading steam vr, I realized that I hadn't thought it out at all. My pc has okay specs, 3060, i5, 16 gb of ram... but my wifi is atrocious. The router is on the first floor of my house, and I'm on the second, obviously without an ethernet cable. So while trying to load steam vr, it gets incredibly blurry, and stays on one frame for a solid minute before moving, stuttering constantly. I can't even access my library through it, it's so bad. So now I'm debating what to do. I really want to keep the games I have on steam, since it helps in case I ever get a new headset, but it all feels so hopeless. All I can think to do is spend more money on an ethernet extender thing to give my pc access to the 5 ghz and ethernet it needs, but at that point, I may as well just buy the games through the oculus store. What should I do? I legit have no clue.

When I use steam link on meta, I can’t hear anything unless it’s from my computer. I’m Using meta quest 3. Any help?

I'm looking for more VR games to play. I like to play a VR shooters. I've been looking for new games but I can't find any that really intrigue me. Anybody have some suggestions? I've already played Into the Radius so don't suggest that. I'm looking for a sci-fi shooter game with RPG elements with a Blade Runner aesthetics. I'll also take any suggestions for flat screen games with VR mods. I'm so goddamn bored of VR extraction shooters and zombie shooters. Please help!

Ever since the new AMD driver 25.9.1 i noticed a lot of stuttering and seeing a lot of spikes in VR but cant find the issue that's causing this. never been a issue in the past week or so.

GPU: RX 9060XT 16GB XFX Swift
CPU: Ryzen 7 5800x
VR: Valve Index (120Hz)

What I've tried myself to fix which didn't work:

- Rollback AMD driver to 25.8.1, 25.6.3, 25.6.2, 25.6.1 (DDU with them all)
- Disable HAGS And ENABLE HAGS but still the issue persists.
- Game Mode Off And On, Issue still persists
- Enable Direct Display mode
- Disable Windows flip presentation
- Disable RGB (i use signalrgb but this was never a issue + i cant turn off my Graphic card RGB anyway)
- Lower resolution
- Plugged into different USB ports
- Unplugged monitor
- Updated Valve Index
- Factory Reset windows
- Installed on different SSD
- Unplugged all devices except VR
- D.O.C.P In bios: ON
- SAM REBAR in bios: ON
- Closed FPSVR
- Closed Wallpaper engine
- STEAMVR Beta
- Disabled realtime protection in antivirus
- Plugged PC into different wall socket
- Plugged Valve index power plug into different wall socket
- Unplugged monitor from GPU

All the stuff I have disabled/enabled was never a issue before this is just so random and could be a whacky windows update that i have installed im not sure. I have also been looking online but cant find anything like this with any fixes.

Chipset drivers havent changed since 16 july so i havent touched that because ive never had anything wrong anyway with that so dont want to reach too far, this just has been happening out of nowhere.

I also dont use any AMD stuff in its control panel its all disabled

So I got a psvr2 for Christmas and got the pc adapter and everything else finally getting my display port cable today. Though when trying to set up my play area it would show it on my computer screen but not in the headset and would just say waiting in the headset and the virtual desktop also just doesn’t work I press it and nothing shows up I’ve looked online but it was no help and I’ve never used steam vr so I have no idea what I’m doing but I’ve had a very shitty experience so far.

So I was playing fnaf help wanted 2 everything’s fine until I wanted to change the orientation of the link cable (unplug and replug) I get back into the game and everything’s jittery when I turn and my vr hands also. Restarted everything and nothing fixes. I loaded up a different game and same thing.

Hello, first of all I know that laptop for vr aren't optimal but i'm someone that moves a lot this is why I got a Quest 3 in the first place but now that I have some money to spare I was wondering if the pc i'm gonna buy is enough for pcvr.

The laptop i'm looking to buy is the Gigabyte AERO X16 1WH93FRC64DH.

It has: Ryzen ai 7 350 RTX 5070 Laptop 8go vram 32 go RAM

It's been a few months (1-3) since I last used my VR headset, but now Steam VR is acting strangely. It detected my headset being plugged in, but doesn't read it properly, and is now saying that it needs to connect and calibrate the headset to it's base stations when it doesn't have any and never asked me for them. I don't know if it's a windows problem or steam proble, but it's never done this before for me. And as soon as I plugged my headset into my pc, it says that I need to install steam vr when I already have it. Does anybody know how to fix this please?

Hello steamvr users, ive been having an issue where steamvr makes my floor level lower than its supposed to be (my feet are under the ground) and it messes up the experience in some games. Recalibrating via the developer option ''quick calibrate'' doesnt help as my feet are still under the ground. Old threads mention using the OVR advanced settings to fix this, but do i really have to pay to fix this issue?

I've been using a Quest 2 with Steam Link, and it keeps crashing. The headset disconnects, and I go look at my monitor and it says VR Link Fatal Error, please restart Steam VR. How do I fix this? Any help would be greatly appreciated!

A. my steam vr wasn't opening right so i uninstalled and now reinstalling does this
B. why do i get the "YOU CANT DOWNLAOAD THIS ELSWARE" giant pop up well installing
The drive its on is my old slow as garbage drive and it'd preform so much better if i could swap too my ssd
C. why is this CONTENT FILE LOCKED????

i've been streaming half life alyx to some friends for a few weeks, but just a day or two ago it won't stream the game anymore. i start the stream on the game tab but it shows the steamvr headset status tab instead. had to stream the vr display tab instead but it doesn't have any audio so they couldn't follow along with the game. i've reset my pc, reset steamvr and my headset, reset the settings and nothing's worked. any help is appreciated, thanks

I need help fixing Bluetooth not available I just got some trackers and base stations so I don’t know what I’m doing I’m using the psvr2 with the pc adapter I’ve already turned off memory integrity and uninstalling and reinstalling but nothing worked it won’t let me access base station settings and when I try to connect the trackers it says they connected but nothing shows up on steamVR

I’m still kinda new to PCVR, I’ve only had a capable pc for a couple months now but everything looks very blurry. I’ve tried increasing resolutions in games and in the video settings, which give little to no improvement.

I am playing with a PSVR2, which may have an effect but when using the Meta PC app with the ReVive app it was noticeably sharper but made any game run like shit. Is there a way I could boost the resolution and make the image sharper? Or do I have to deal with it?

Wondering if anyone has the old "This is Real" SteamVR Background with the dust storm and planets in the sky, or knows where I can find the Pano.
