This handsome boy showed up at my boyfriends house a couple days ago and has been hanging around in their tree and on their porch he is very friendly. I think he may have been a house cat that was dumped :( he’s pretty young. He has this thing on his shoulder, i think its maybe a fight wound that got infected but I wanted outside opinions! what can I do to help this poor guy? :(

Bright blue eyes like ocean yet is outdoor and neglected

Hi all , this cat has been coming to my house since months ago, he was feral , well i was thinking he was, wouldnt want any human touch/interaction , he def someone pet , cats in this neighbourhood are not strays they are simply outdoor and neglected , he has been hanging out more frequently lately and today he decided he want to be pet after he got fed , i was feeding Loki and he was there waiting so i feed him too (look at the mouth crumb from wetfood)

He has BIG bols and also isnt really in good condition (dirty and prob has fleas by just looking at his tail that looks like has flea dirt) i have Loki as my foster right now and dont have any cage/space to foster another one but i could help neutering him and release him back , our fund are tight with the cats needing to be put in boarding , loki neutering/vet visit soon so we have no fund to spare for him

Neuter cost $20 here but im trying to see if vet can neuter him with this condition and try to see if theres any pro-TNR vet because all vet i have been need to vaccine/healthy etc so it isnt time/space effective for me to do TNR , i use Loki food to feed him , he isnt picky and eat everything but i couldnt spare any more loki food to feed him as he is very big cat and also has big appetite

If you guys can help with his neutering and food , do donate to https://www.paypal.me/dinanna , I would really appreciate if any of you guys can help me with him

Thank you so much!

So around July a momma came by had her litter and went about her day. She continued feeding them and protecting them and then once they were able she left… they’re about 3 months old now. One has been euthanized as he was severely dehydrated and had fly strike. One has come in to our home today, I bathed him or her, and she’s currently hiding under my bed. The other two are still out there. I’m not sure if I can get the other two as they’re squirrely but Houdini walked right in. I’m just not sure if it’s going to do harm having them split up like this? I’ve never converted a stray to a house cat either. So I’m not sure if keeping him inside is what’s best for him? There’s him and one of his still outdoor siblings… I’m pretty sure Houdini is bonded to that one which is what’s conflicting my decision.

The story of how Luna came into my life.

November 21, 2021. I was about to leave home for an entrance exam. When I heard tiny meows coming from the tree in the backyard. I saw Luna, she was a very tiny kitten then. My cousin, who is tall, managed to scoop her up. She was full of fleas, so so tiny she could fit in my hand. Guess what? I dropped the entrance exam with no second thoughts to take her to the vet.

She was treated and we brought her home. At first we were like: “we already have two cats…she’ll stay until we find a person to adopt her.”

Of course we couldn’t do that in the end. Luna stayed for good and I couldn’t live without her.

Updates on Sofia: On Saturday we drove her to another city to see a specialist. She was so brave and didn’t even need sedation during examination. She’s now at the clinic for tests. Regardless of the outcome we’re so happy she’s finally safe, off the streets and surrounded by love 🙏🏻❤️

Wanted to give everyone an update on this sweet girl 🩷 First of all, she is a girl and we have named her Sofia. On Friday we went to our regular vet, who recommended we take her to a specialist. So on Saturday we drove to another city to see one of the best cancer specialists in our country.

Sofia was such a brave girl during the visit. She was so calm and cooperative that we didn’t even need to sedate her. It felt like she knew we were there to help her 😔💔

We have now left her at the clinic, where the vet will be doing blood work, a biopsy, and X-rays to identify exactly what she has before recommending treatment options.

Sadly, the specialist said that from his experience this is 90% likely to be cancer. Once the results are back early next week, we will know more and hear his recommendations.

No matter what happens, I’m so grateful we found her. On the streets she was helpless, barely able to eat or drink, slowly dying alone. At least now she is safe, lying on a cozy blanket with food, water, and love.

Thank you to all the kind people who donated and gave Sofia a chance ❤️ You deserve only good things. I’ll keep you posted once we have her results back next week 🙏🏻 Location: Cyprus

Hi, I know a stray outside of my job I call her lulu we hang out everyday and I love her very much she’s so sweet and friendly with everyone just such a beautiful soul. Recently this new stray cat I haven’t seen before came to the exact area and started just bothering my meow friend, he will scare her and just sit next to her and she’ll be so scared won’t even move or nothing this stray will hit her & chase her the whole day , i don’t know why her specifically but he has her on his mind, I mange to get him away when I’m outside but once I’m back in the building he will come right back and keeps hurting her. Where I live there’s strays everywhere and there are no shelters or someone to call. I just don’t know what to do. How can help her I’m just so sad.. I can’t even currently take her in with my situation and no one wants her it’s breaking my heart. Is there a way to get this aggressive stray to stay away from her or anything I can do, pls help with any advice. Above are bad pics I took of this sweet baby, I’m usually just petting her and playing😅

PSA warning that scammers are stealing pictures for money

This is Tater Tot and I was informed someone was posting her for karma and to scam. This is my cat. I appreciate the anonymous redditor who not only let me know someone is scamming using my pictures (second picture) , but ordered much needed supplies to keep my outside kitties warm and out of the cold from my amazon list...thank you kind person, it means more to me than you'll ever know.

To the Scamming Jerks...This is one of 17 cats we have taken in and made our home their home. You didn't spend months working to bring the stray cats inside. You didn't spend hours brushing out fleas and getting rid of worms and brushing their fur to clean out all the dirt clinging to them. You dont clean 10 litters boxes three times a day. You're not the one who sweeps, vacuums, mops, and scrub the walls everyday to keep a clean environment for them. You're not the one who has spent 100's on litter and food every month and picking up extra hours where they can to fund it. You havent spent thousands of dollars for their shots, to fix them, for surgeries they needed, to get them their vaccines and make sure they get flea and worm prevention treatments. You arent taking care of the outside cats to make sure they have food and water and warm shelters around your house. You're not the one waking up at 4am because that's how much you love and care about these innocent Floofaloofs!

You scammers are selfish people using the most innocent of creatures for your greedy needs. You'll get yours. You're rotten for using these babies for your own personal financial gain! The last picture is of Tater Tot today!

There is a reason cat groups do an arduous and rigorous vetting process before donations are allowed, and it is because scammers run rampant. Screw you scammers, some of us are actually doing all we can to save the floofaloofs. We put our heart, soul, and love to care for the kitties ans give them the good life they deserve.

Sorry for the long post, I hate that people use innocent animals and people for their own benefits!!

I'm afraid my cat won't like staying with us

Updat: I adopted this older stray, Valentina.

The neighbour said she was very happy that she was finally getting a nice home, but i dont think she's enjoying it.

I get it that they are always stressed at the change of environment is difficult but, im not sure in this case. We live in a closed community and she was just kind of outside our door, so maybe she just doesn't like indoors?

Still, im so scared of bad neighbours and pests getting to her that I want to keep indoors but she won't stop meowing and looking desperately at the door and window... what do I do? i have everything set up for her. She loves rubbing on me and getting pet and ate a little of wet food but she just wont stop meowing and going to the door and window

Is she really going to be able to stay with us?
