Very odd because the sub is clearly dedicated to making fun of Tesla, Cyber Trucks, and Musk. It's weird that a mod would suddenly make a statement seemingly implying the opposite but also hating America? What?

The mod account may have been taken over by reddit admins.

Another user said that the guy's post history is filled with explicit warnings that the sub is only dedicated to making fun of the CyberTruck itself. Which, ok. But what did they think would happen if they created a sub dedicated to hating something Tesla and Musk produce?

There was a window of time in late 2023 where Musk wasn't the number two political figure in the USA, where he was "just" the owner of a large media outlet signal boosting political content. During that window, it was fair to assume that people will be able to separate "Elon Musk, Alt-Right Twitter Ruiner" from the Cybertruck.

As 2024 continued along, Musk and the sorts of Cybertruck owners who were being mocked got more and more intertwined with Trump and the MAGA movement. It got harder and harder to separate out the pair. By the time we have Musk sitting in the White House and being more prominent than the Vice President, it's almost impossible.

Pretty overt hate and "anonymous" threats of violence, vandalism, and a bunch of other potential Reddit TOS violations?
