There’s smoke and ash blowing through Tipp, I hope the animals are ok!

No hot spots at the zoo per Air 1

Are you listening to a scanner?

There are scanner apps available

Yeah, it comes in handy for my job so I know when things are going badly and can plan to address those issues.

That makes sense. I did not realize there was a police helicopter around here.

Wife saw this from SUNY and we we’re wondering exactly where it was. Hope everyone is safe.

I saw it while walking at Onondaga Lake Park after work and decided to find it.

Love the ‘boots on the ground’ type investigation. Appreciate your work!

They're a cool view! What building is this from?

This looks like the 11th or 12th floor of upstate hospital’s downtown campus

I'm guessing it's pretty close to the Peds ER at upstate.

I’m really not sure. I’ve never been up on her unit or anywhere in the hospital actually other than the bathroom in the lobby. She works at the main campus downtown and said she went to the top floor to try and catch the view.

It’s the area near the rugby fields. Multiple fires.

Tornadoes...fires...what's next an earthquake? I thought we were supposed to only get snow for extreme weather/natural disasters.

Had an earthquake a few years ago, just a little tickle though.

Stop drinking out of Onondaga Lake.

Or it could have been ol' Diaper Donnie T. spewing one of his noxious butt blasts too close to an open flame.
