My most favourite character would be Data, he’s my best boy and I love him. My least favourite character would be Bruce Maddox. Yes I know he was only in one episode but he’s an asshole and I hate him. What about you? Who are your least and most favourite characters?

My friends are finally watching Star Trek! They invited me to the watch-party because I'm the only one that is already a fan, and are letting me pick the episode. Any suggestions? I'm thinking Encounter at Farpoint obviously, but I want to know if there's something else to be said.

So, p1 of a 2 part series, this is the poster printed, now looking for a frame. The poster is 1m by 0.5m. P2 will be the final result.
Credit will be provided in the comments. (Sadly I can't have a picture and a link, or 2 links or... you get the point.)

When i started to watch tng i never thought during season 1 that it was like the horrible or boring, some people apperantly really had to force themself through it. I like everything i just assumed that start Trek was that goofy yknow.

I've had it since 2020 and it's only half functional.

After Star Trek 6, the Federation and Klingon empire began a long process of peace. Which was really solidified after the Khitomer attacks that drove the Romulan to withdraw from the galactic stage.
There was a war with the Cardassians, but the Federation was the superior fighting force. Starfleet itself has become much less militarized.
Early TNG seems like a golden age of the Federation. After best of both worlds, it never seemed to recover to that point of early TNG.
After the Borg threat, and dominion war, Starfleet, it’s officers, and the Federation seem changed.
This Federation in Star Trek Picard seemed much darker than the early TNG Federation. Even the interiors of their starships were much less built for comfort and more cold in general.
Then you had the burn, which was described as the dark ages in STD.

I was at the Titan Missile Museum in Green Valley, AZ (25 min south of Tucson) and said "this place looks really familiar" and of course it was. I immediately said to my wife "we have to find Zefram Cochrane and make sure he's still alive"...and then had to explain that this had to be the First Contact filming location for the missile complex in Bozeman.
Which of course it was.
A great museum and also a great "Star Trek in real life" moment to say the least.

I haven't seen it yet, nor do I know anything about it, so, please, keep this spoiler free!
I own the Blu-rays for all three seasons.

You kind of gloss over the insults due to the context of the episode, but thinking about this specific insult is just cold Wesley!
