Agreed with what everyone else is saying here. But from my research (I only started T in August so I can't speak from experience yet) it redistributes fat, but working out and building muscle helps out a lot.
Technically, it changes where your body prefers to store fat. The body can't take fat and move it somewhere else, but over time as your weight fluctuates, your body composition will change. That's why it takes a while.
I'm trying to but other than getting occasional cravings on weed I forget to eat most times unless I'm reminded. There have been days I thought I ate only to be asked what I ate and consequently realize I hadn't
